Festival of Jazz

Annually an important Festival of Jazz - between is celebrated in Vitoria and the13- 19 of July, in which all the great legend has taken part almost from the sort, from Her Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, or the Thousand Davises, until Chick Korea, Bobby McFerrin or Wynton Marsalis, that have composed an album of tribute to the festival.

 The Azkena Rock Festival (festival of independent Rock)

 Has become one of the festivales most important of the country thanks to its interest to bring recognized bands of rock like Pearl Jam, Pop Iggy & The Stooges, Wilco, Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Religion, Deep Purple or Fun Lovin Criminals.

Celebrations of Vitoria-Gasteiz

The more important festive manifestation of the city, nevertheless, is the celebrations of the White, that take place between the 4 and the 9 of August; without forgetting the Day of the Blouse (celebrated each 25 of July from 1926), with its traditional market of garlic, nor the Romería de Olarizu (the first Monday after the Virgin of September).

-ARTIUM's own collection is one of the most important selection of contemporaneous Basque and Spanish art. Two thousand works make up this collection, produced by key artists from the twentieth century, from Picasso and Miró to Saura, Chillida and Oteiza, and well-known recent artists, such as Javier Pérez and Txomin Badiola, amongst others.
-An outstanding collection that allows visitors to make a significant tour through the history of art of the last hundred years.

-Collections: Mainly works of figures of the second half of the 20th century. More than 2,000 works of art that show, in a coherent and logic way, the evolution of the 20th and 21st centuries' Spanish art.
